Novi Pet Expo is a yearly event open to all rescues in Michigan including exotic animals. The event brings in several hundred people each day and generates multiple applications for our animals as well as for new volunteers. This is a fun event with a lot of vendors around to buy cute stuff. As a paid vendor/rescue- we too are allowed to bring in things to sell so you crafty people out there keep that in mind.

I am looking for volunteers to work half day shifts so when responding please let me know if you are looking to help in the am or pm. Thank you!

10-8 the Saturday and 11-5 the Sunday of participation.

This is a great event that focuses on all things “animal.” There are booths filled with information, products, and services for pets, a pet fashion show, a pooch kissing booth, pet-related crafts, shopping, and even on-site adoptions! Over 750 people typically attend the expo and we’re hoping for even more this year.

Project Hope Microchip Clinic

Special Event!! Project Hope a low cost clinic and supporter of Last Day Dog Rescue is hosting a special event and  LDDR will participate. 

Last Day Dog Rescue will be having a Microchip Clinic there. So please... if you have a friend, family members, adopters of your fosters before we started the program (3-13) or you yourself have a forever dog that needs microchipping. Please come to this event from 11:00-2:00 on June 28th. Cost for the Microchip will be $20. The more dogs microchipped the less dogs lost in shelters and killed. 

They will have free hot dogs and low cost vaccines at the clinic too for those who have dogs that are need of vaccines.
