ADOPT A DOG OR CAT FROM LAST DAY DOG RESCUE

Thank you for visiting Last Day Dog Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) organization with a simple mission - saving animals. A no-kill rescue based in Livonia with foster homes across Michigan. We take in these beautiful transient creatures and do our very best to provide them with safety, medical care, and LOVE. Since 2007 saving thousands of dogs and cats. While we openly take in puppies and dogs who are in good shape, our focus is on saving those who are most likely not saved without our help. We were founded on the principle that all life is precious, regardless of breed, appearance, or age. Please consider adopting one of our dogs, puppies, cats or kittens.   Daya - Vq Litter
Hi there! My name originally was Daya but I go by Rue and my three favorite things are food, cozy pillows, and cuddles (ideally all happening at once). I am content to curl up in a ball and sleep the day away but I do have bursts of energy and I LOVE to chew so I need a home where I can get the exercise and mental stimulation I need. I love my people and want nothing more than to cuddle up and...read more about Daya - Vq Litter

Hi I’m Proximo but go by Thorfinn now. I’ve had a bit of a rough start to life after being found in the streets with my sister as a puppy. I am a very sweet and lovable guy who likes to curl up next to my person when we watch tv, sleep, or on days when we’re just couch potatoes. I also like to go on walks and I know some basic commands like sit, shake, wait and down. ...read more about Proximo

He would also be best with no children. He really can cuddle, love, play, explore, and more - he just n...read more about Nash

  Drako
Hi I'm Drako! I am a very sweet gentle guy but very strong. I am very curious about the cats in my foster home but have not met them yet. I am potty trained and crate trained. While I am strong I am working on my leash skills and getting better each day. I usually start a walk off pulling but correct well and shortly in adjust to your pace. I do tend to get antsy/jumpy if left alone for too lo...read more about Drako

Seniors For Seniors

Did you know that Last Day Dog Rescue has a "Seniors For Seniors" program? Animal lovers 65 years and over can adopt a select senior dog for only $100! Our senior dogs included in this program are listed on our Seniors For Seniors page. These very special dogs have won the hearts of our fosters and volunteers and we are sure they will win yours over, too!

As with all our dogs, we will also take our animals back in the event of an emergency or illness. So please tell all your senior friends! There is no reason to live alone without the love and devotion of a furever friend.
