Thank you for visiting Last Day Dog Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) organization with a simple mission - saving animals. A no-kill rescue based in Livonia with foster homes across Michigan. We take in these beautiful transient creatures and do our very best to provide them with safety, medical care, and LOVE. Since 2007 saving thousands of dogs and cats. While we openly take in puppies and dogs who are in good shape, our focus is on saving those who are most likely not saved without our help. We were founded on the principle that all life is precious, regardless of breed, appearance, or age. Please consider adopting one of our dogs, puppies, cats or kittens.   Daya - Vq Litter
Hi there! My name originally was Daya but I go by Rue and my three favorite things are food, cozy pillows, and cuddles (ideally all happening at once). I am content to curl up in a ball and sleep the day away but I do have bursts of energy and I LOVE to chew so I need a home where I can get the exercise and mental stimulation I need. I love my people and want nothing more than to cuddle up more about Daya - Vq Litter
Hi I’m Proximo but go by Thorfinn now. I’ve had a bit of a rough start to life after being found in the streets with my sister as a puppy. I am a very sweet and lovable guy who likes to curl up next to my person when we watch tv, sleep, or on days when we’re just couch potatoes. I also like to go on walks and I know some basic commands like sit, shake, wait and down. more about Proximo
Nash is a big love bug! He loves to get petted and cuddle. He is still very much a pup so he is a bit mouthy but is working on his manners. His knows some basic commands like sit, wait, stay and high five. He is house broken and crate trained. He is very quite in his crate and really in general. Nash is not a big barker. He loves to run around the yard, play with his toys and chew bones. He doesn' more about Nash
Looking for a loyal, playful pup? Drako's your guy! Drako is almost 3 years old and is a sweetheart who's already mastered potty training and chilling in his crate. He's working on his leash manners and quickly learns to walk at your pace. While he might get excited at first, Drako settles down quickly after goodbyes.  He's a smart boy who knows all the basic more about Drako
  Qu Litter Daffodil
My name is Daffodil, but my foster mom calls me Dilly, Silly Dilly. I'm a feisty little pup. I have a lot of energy during the day, sniffing and running around the yard, and play pouncing on my human... I like to sneak and pounce. I'm learning new tricks like sit, paw, down and up. By night I'm definitely a snuggler and would love it if you let me sleep in your bed and lay on your more about Qu Litter Daffodil
Love the water? Farrah does her ideal forever will include a pond/lake visits. She loves to dip her head in her water pail, too. Farrah has been with the rescue since she was about 2 months old. She crate trained, potty trained, and knows some commands. She loves to go and visit other dogs. Great dog for a dog park. She does have some prey drive with cats and other small animals. Farrah loves her more about Farrah
I'm a bouncy, beautiful, beauty. I love to play with my foster mom, go for walks, hang out outside. I am an active gal - so plenty of exercise is good for me! I have 2 little chihuahua "friends" - haha - I like them a lot but I am much bigger than them and they are old so I knock them down. I would love to see some dogs that can match my energy! I am spayed, more about Sunbeam

Seniors For Seniors

Did you know that Last Day Dog Rescue has a "Seniors For Seniors" program? Animal lovers 65 years and over can adopt a select senior dog for only $100! Our senior dogs included in this program are listed on our Seniors For Seniors page. These very special dogs have won the hearts of our fosters and volunteers and we are sure they will win yours over, too!

As with all our dogs, we will also take our animals back in the event of an emergency or illness. So please tell all your senior friends! There is no reason to live alone without the love and devotion of a furever friend.
