Thank you for visiting Last Day Dog Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) organization with a simple mission - saving animals. A no-kill rescue based in Livonia with foster homes across Michigan. We take in these beautiful transient creatures and do our very best to provide them with safety, medical care, and LOVE. Since 2007 saving thousands of dogs and cats. While we openly take in puppies and dogs who are in good shape, our focus is on saving those who are most likely not saved without our help. We were founded on the principle that all life is precious, regardless of breed, appearance, or age. Please consider adopting one of our dogs, puppies, cats or kittens.   Ia Litter Banjo (BONDED PAIR)
Hi I'm Sylvester though with LDDR I'm know as Banjo. I am a very loving boy who loves to curl up in laps for cuddles. I love all people and food, especially my night time treat. I am very close with my sister Lilly so we need to be adopted together.
  Ia Litter Lilly (BONDED PAIR)
Meet Lilly! I'm a very sweet little girl who loves to snuggle next to you. I am extremely close with my brother Banjo aka Sylvester, and need to be adopted together.
Mya is a super sweet girl with a great temperament. She is playful like a puppy at times and is always happy. She will entertain herself with toys if you are busy but loves to hang out with you. She loves being outside. She likes to run around the yard, go for walks and likes to chase squirrels. Mya would make a great running partner. She is good with kids but can be shy with new visitors. Once more about Mya
“A dark eyed beauty with a smile all her own.” Hi! I’m Ellie, a sweet, affectionate girl who is on a journey to find my forever home.  I was rescued from an abandoned yard and am so excited to have an opportunity to find a family that I can love. Training and trust have been key on the road to my transformation from orphan to loyal companion. I’m learning how more about Ellie
H‚Äči my name is Roland. Are you looking for a dog that loves to walk, but also enjoys downtime and cuddles on the couch? That is me! I love having a fenced yard so I can run and play on my own as well. I like to learn new things especially tricks, which I enjoy showing off.  When you leave the house, all you need to do is ask me to get in my crate and I go right in. If I am left out, I more about Roland
  Picasso Ok Litter
Picasso is a very sweet, loving boy that loves to cuddle With his people. He also likes to spend time outside. He does not like other dogs so he is very reactive on the leash. He needs a home with no other pets and no kids. Picasso is a shy boy when it comes to new visitors so he will need a quiet home with very little traffic. He is crate trained, up to date on shots, neutered and house trained. more about Picasso Ok Litter

Seniors For Seniors

Did you know that Last Day Dog Rescue has a "Seniors For Seniors" program? Animal lovers 60 years and over can adopt a select senior dog 8 years old and over for only $35! These very special dogs have won the hearts of shelter staff and our volunteers and we are sure they will win yours over, too!

As with all our dogs, we will also take our animals back in the event of an emergency or illness. So please tell all your senior friends! There is no reason to live alone without the love and devotion of a furever friend.
