Description:

Hello there! My name is Adonis!
I am not sure exactly what my breed is, but my mom is a Miniature Schnauzer mix and my foster parents say that my face really looks like a Schnauzer puppy. But we think that I am going to be bigger than my ten pound mom. Since we don't know what my dad was, I can't say exactly how big I will get. We think my dad might have been a Dachshund, Border Terrier mix, but we have no idea! I think I will be a small to medium sized dog, we are guessing less than 30 pounds, but again, we can't promise anything!

I was born on January 17, 2016. I have two sisters, their names are Aphaea and Aphrodite. I get along really well with other animals and would love to go to a home that has another dog or cat to keep me company. But that isn't absolutely necessary, it just might make the transition easier!

I LOVE people. I get so excited when I get to meet new people and I love my foster parents, they are great. I get so excited when they come in to the room to play with my siblings and I.

I am located in a foster home in East Lansing, so you would have to consider that before applying to adopt me because my foster mom likes to have potential adopters come to our home to meet with us first so we are comfortable. Also, since I am so young, I can't be out of the home until I am 8  weeks old and have had enough vaccines so that we feel safe that I won't pick up any illnesses. The earliest that I will be able to go home is  March 16th .

I am puppy pad trained for the most part. I will use them consistently but if you don't have enough around sometimes I can't hold it to find one in time. But I am only just a baby so I will learn really quickly to make it in time, and I will do great with potty training outside. But we haven't started that just yet because it is too cold for us tiny babies.

If you are interested in learning more about me, please contact my foster mom at kelli.grazi@yahoo.com
If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application. My foster mom will set up meet and greets with the families she feels would be the best fit for me.

Love,
Adonis

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
