Say hello to Freja! This stunning girl was originally a stray in Detroit and was picked up by the good folks at Michigan Humane Society. She was very sad and depressed so Last Day Dog Rescue stepped up to place Freja with a foster family until she could find her forever home. She is now in a home with two dogs and they get along just fine. We do not know how she is with cats. Freja is still coming out of her shell, so we aren't sure if she is completely housebroken or what toys she likes. She definitely does not like to be in a crate. She knows a few basic commands and loves treats of any kind.
Freja is very mellow and calm and likes to snooze most of the time, but she can be exuberant when it is mealtime or her favorite humans come home from work. A household with children older than 8 might be best.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption.
