Meet Harry aka Hank. Hank's family entrusted LDDR to find him a safe, loving home because they are a military family and are moving overseas, but because of Hank's mix he is not allowed to live on base. Here is what Hank's family says about him:
"I’m Hank. I love life! I’m a big fan of people, kids too(!) and love to go for walks, car rides and trips to the woods. I will do just about anything for food, especially peanut butter. At night I like to sleep on my bed next to yours (sometimes when I’m really tired I snore a bit) but during the day while you’re at work I am content to hang out in my crate. A perfect day for me includes my people, a walk and some time to lay in the sun with a stick or my tennis ball. I graduated “top dog” from obedience class, I am a very good boy!" Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.
