Description:
August is a gorgeous, bashful, and healthy rescue from Tuscola County Animal Control. She is a bit shy and loves to hang out and watch TV with her foster family! She displays grace and love in everything that she does. She has a charming personality. She plays well with her sister, Vienna, and her foster family. She does quite well with children (there is a 1 year old, and 6 year old living here), and other dogs (her sister and foster brother). She is selective about her dog friends, so a proper introduction is important. he has never been around cats. August usually walks without pulling but can get distracted while walking. She is currently working on crate training, and will need someone to continue her training. Consistent love, puppy training, socialization, and guidance will make Vienna a exquisite addition to your family.
Applicants who are willing to enroll their puppy in obedience classes will receive preference Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags, the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs/cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog/cat. The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption.
