Description:
Hello there!
My name is Mystere and I am a super cute black kitten that is new to the rescue. Did you know that black kitties like me are often overlooked because of our coloring? I really hope that I am not overlooked because I am such a sweet girl and everyone that meets me says that I definitely deserve a forever home.

I was found as a stray and a really nice rescue lady decided that she would take me in. She partnered with Last Day Dog Rescue and now we are on the search for my forever home! I am so glad that she brought me in from outside. It is clear that I used to have a home and someone threw me out because no one was looking for me and I am really super friendly with humans. I love to sleep on my foster moms bed with her at night. I also really like to sit by the windows and watch the world go by… those birds are so entertaining!

I think that I would do just fine in a home with a dog as long as the dog is respectful with me. I also think that because I am so young, I would be fine in a home with other cats or kittens. I would just need to have proper introductions done just like any other cat or kitten would require. I think I would also be fine with kids because I am so gentle. I do have my claws and I am required to keep those, but I haven't used them on anyone, so we should be good!

I am good about using my scratching posts and I have been using my litter box like a pro, I haven't had any accidents at all in my foster home! If you have a cat tower, I would love that so that I can explore and watch the birds from up high! I also really love toys, my foster mom gave me some toys that make noise and I love to bat them around and play. I keep myself pretty entertained.

One of my favorite things in the world are cuddles! I really love when humans rub my face. It is just the best thing, I love cuddles! I think that I would definitely be a good lap cat. So if you are looking for a low maintenance companion, please do consider me especially since because of my color I will likely be overlooked. But guess what? My hair goes nicely with most of your wardrobe! I bet you won't even find it most of the time. And I am

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
