Zeva us a real sweetheart! She loves to be petted and loved on! She is definitely and lap dog. She does well with other dogs but not so good with cats! She had been with 2 shepherds, 2 chi's and a rotti mix she got along with everyone! She is very sweet and good with kids. She would do well with respectful kids, as long as they don't pull on her or hurt her she will let them love on her too! She is crate trained, potty trained and pee pad trained. She sometimes has difficulty holding her pee all night though so we put a pee pad in her crate for her. She does go to the door but you must pay attention to her she doesn't make much noise so she may need a bell on the door. She gets along well with other dogs but she would thrive in a home where she is the center of attention and is in the center of your lap. Zeva will make a wonderful companion for most anyone she is a cuddle bug!!
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.
