Description:
Hello there!
While you are distracted with my gorgeous eyes, allow me to introduce myself! My name is Zonya and I am a very sweet and loving girl looking for her forever home. I love to play fetch, tug, or pretty much any game you'd like me to. I am a pro swimmer too as you can see here. When it's time to relax and cuddle up, I'm just as happy to do that too. I love to cuddle up with my people every chance I get. Some of my other favorite pastimes are shredding boxes (I swear they are the BEST toys ever!! My foster mom says it's nice because they're cheap too!) and chasing small furry toys on a flirt pole (as you can see in this video).
I am a graduate of LDDR's training program where they helped me learn how I can be the best dog I can be. I know how to sit, down, shake, wait, come and all sorts of other cool things. I walk nicely on leash, I'm completely house trained and crate trained. Although I am crate trained and enjoy my crate I am also great out of my crate while you are gone. Just give me a kong and put on some classical music for me and I will patiently wait for your return.
I am currently living with two small kids and love to play and cuddle with them too! I have lived with cats and done well with them, c

I would prefer a home as the only dog.
I hope to meet you soon!
Love, Zonya
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
