Description:

Kimber is a total sweetheart, so pretty, and such a great girl! She loves to be by your side and is always happy to see you! Kimber is great in the house, she doesn't bother anything that doesn't belong to her, and is completely house trained. She is great for car rides and also knows basic commands such as sit, come, lay down, and is good on a leash.

Kimber is wonderful with kids of all ages. She does great with babies and toddlers! Kimber is also good with other dogs. She enjoys playing with them! Proper introductions are always advised and she seems to do best with males and submissive females. She is currently in a foster home with 4 other dogs and a 12 year old human boy. Kimber LOVES her people but can be leary of new people, which is a trait of her breed. Give her a few minutes to warm up to you though and you are her new best friend! It's pure loyalty and love and she will never leave your side! She loves to cuddle! Kimber gets so happy to see you when you get home, that she will jump straight up in the air with excitement :) It is quite entertaining!

Kimber's owner moved and was going to turn Kimber loose in the neighborhood to fend for herself. A neighbor knew of this and took Kimber into her home. Unfortunately, she  is larger than what her condo allows and could not keep her. Although she wanted to since she thought Kimber is a perfect dog! The woman had a 3 year old and a 6 month old and said Kimber was fantastic with them! Even when they had food in their hands!

Kimber would love to find her forever home! She will love you more than you can imagine and will be a great companion and best friend for someone. If you have any questions about Kimber or would like more info, please email her foster at chlyfa415@comcast.net

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
