Description:
Are you looking for an adorable, medium sized dog that has a huge heart and wonderful manners? Samoa was brought to a shelter in southern Ohio and left with her 7 puppies. All of her litter are healthy and doing great, this young Mom did a wonderful job with them. She is thrilled to be in her foster home and getting to be a puppy again herself, playing hide and seek, going for walks and snuggling with everybody in the house. She is housetrained, knows basic commands and picks up on things very quickly. Her foster family is teasing each other about how often they drop what they are doing to go play with Samoa when she approaches with a toy and her big brown eyes, who could resist? She will be ready for adoption on January 1st when her litter is 8 weeks old and old enough for her to go. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption.
