Description:
Rockee is one great dog...and so handsome! He is a super sweet and happy boy! He does have A TON of energy and loves to run and go for walks. It would be great for him to find someone who has a yard and is willing to play with him and take him for several long walks each day to tire him out a bit or he will be really anxious and pace around the house. He is really playful and loves to be outside, he gets so excited when you start gearing up for a walk. He will be happiest if he can get into a tall fenced yard (he can jump a 4 ft fence) to run around as he really likes to chew and would break a tie out cable. If he is bored and none of the other dogs will play with him he will throw a ball for himself and chase it around the house.
Rockee loves people in general and he really loves children. He is exuberant and tends to jump when he gets excited, so the only concern about children would be that he might accidentally knock one down. Rockee is great with other dogs that want to play chase! He can get a little pushy trying to get dogs to play with him but all he wants is to start a game. He would love to have a good natured dog to run and play with or he would be fine as an only dog as long as his person/family will play with him. He likes to wrestle and play tug of war. He does love to chase cats. He doesn't hurt them, but he loves to chase them.
Rockee is a smart boy! He knows how to sit and shake and he is motivated by treats. He likes to chew on bones. He doesn't require crating and is housetrained. He doesn't get into anything, but he might occasionally pick up a shoe if he's bored in hopes that you will chase him :) He loves to lie on a soft dog bed. He loves to go on car rides and is very good in the car!

Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
