Description:

Hello To One and All:-)  My name is Scotland and I would like to tell you a wee bit about me.  I am a beautiful Golden Retriever and Hound Mix, as you can see by my ears:-))...My Foster Mom thinks I look a lot like her old Golden that she had, and she rubs my ears and head and talks to him, his name was Buddy.  I have beautiful manners and walk like a gentleman on a leash, am house trained, what else would you expect from a dog with the name of Scotland, I am a good boy in my crate or in the back yard.  Love to play with the other dogs and with the two children that I live with.  I would play with the cats but all they want to do is sleep:-((  Oh well, can't have everyone for a playmate, how about you, would you like to be my best friend and playmate?????

Why don't you come on over for a play date and we can get to know one another???

I will be waiting to meet you!

Your New Best Friend,
Scotland

My friends just call me Scotty, like on Star Trek, you know "beam me up Scotty:-))"

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
