Description:
I’m a very sweet, docile, petite girl! I was dropped off by my owner to a shelter. I was in rough shape but after a nice bath and some love, I was quickly on the mend. After being in the shelter for a little while a volunteer fell in love with me and decided to foster me so I could get out of that noisy place.
Upon my arrival in my new foster family's home, I was introduced to a very playful, pushy dog who is always trying to get me to play with him. I have decided he plays a little too rough for me and I prefer to be left alone. I don’t mind him at all as long as he gives me some personal space, I also don’t like sharing my tennis ball with him. They also have a cat, I find myself very interested in figuring out what he’s all about, but my foster Mom keeps trying to get me to leave him alone.
I am having so much fun here soaking up the affection, I love being around my foster Mom and Dad, I love long walks, cuddle time, chasing the bunnies in the yard and a good game of fetch, I could go on for hours!! You wouldn’t know I was 4 yrs old, my Foster Mom thinks I have the energy of a young pup! When anyone comes over I greet them with my waggy tail and promptly sit next to them waiting for them to pet me.
Unfortunately my previous owner did not take the time to teach me much. I do very well in my crate and always go potty outside. I’m learning not to pull so much on the leash and they are teaching me some commands. My foster Mom says I’m very smart, I learn new things very quickly and I take correction very well.
I can’t wait to find my furever home, I will make the most wonderful companion, I have many more years of doggie kisses to give!
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.
