Description:
Hello I'm named Krispy Kream! The nice lady that met me to take my photo said I'm a soulful sweetheart. I like that! I was named by the vet tech after yummy donuts because that is what I like best with pills! Yes, I know that it's not the best food for doggies but being a street dog I learned to like this kind of stuff. Before I was brought to the vet by the kind lady who volunteers for LDDR. I lived on the streets, had many litters of pups and learned to fend for myself. I'm must be pretty or nice or both! because I lived for maybe four years like that. They think I look like a mini Newfie. I have a big round head and wavy coat that I'm kinda embarrassed about. It's very patch from the fleas that once lived on me. Since I have been at the vet they are getting me all healthy and soon I will be "fixed" so no more babies for me! and maybe have eye surgery because my eyelashes as pretty as they are ...are growing inward causing some irritations. So, you see I'm far from perfect. but I like all kinds of people, even small people, love to walk by someones side, I like other dogs and don't mind those fluffy things called cats. If your looking for someone that will love you to the moon and back... and don't mind helping me become the best dog I can be with a little patience and training. I could be your someone special.. and you can be mine! Thanks for taking the time to read my story. If interested... please apply for me! I am so excited to meet you!
Love, Krispy Kreme
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.
