Hello! My name on record is Cliff but I answer to the names Monty and Monster. I was adopted as a puppy but had to be returned after 6 wonderful years with my family. I was so confused and would love to have a home to call my own again. I am sweet, lovable and loyal; I just want to love and be loved! My favorite things are tennis balls, belly rubs, and sneaking the tiniest nibbles of cat food when my foster mom isn't looking. I love to play but have to be careful because my knees aren't quite what they used to be, and I'm still recovering from surgery. I like to think that I am the perfect mix of play and couch potato, but mostly couch potato! With proper and patient introductions, I'm friends with both cats and dogs! I haven't really been around young children much these days, but they might not be best because I'm pretty strong and clumsy. I love women right away, but can be quite cautious and grumbly around unfamiliar or mysterious men (but I mean who isn't?). I'm a good good boy on walks and car rides, but don't forget I am strong so make sure I'm nice and secure if we come across something exciting! I am up to date on vaccines, crate and house trained, microchipped and neutered. Take a chance on me and you won’t be sorry! Looking for a forever home . I cannot wait to meet you! Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
