Description:
Mindy is a very sweet 20lb terrier mix who found herself at a scary shelter when her family moved. She is five years old and loves to go for walks and to snuggle next to you. She is housetrained and is crate trained and so far sleeps in her crate at night. (we left the door open and she put herself to bed.) She warms up to new people quickly and has not barked once since she has been here. Mindy loves to be scratched and will sit, lay down, and stay for a dog biscuit. Her fur is soft and fluffy not wirey as her photos look. She doesn't ask for much just some loving and is content to lay by my feet when I am on the computer. She seems to get along with dogs, I do not know about cats. She is walking better on the leash every time and does great with a harness. She would love a fenced yard to run around If you are looking for a sweet snuggle dog Mindy is your gal!

 

 


Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

 

 

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
