Description:

Rosa is a shy little girl who came from a rural shelter where space runs out rapidly. She weighs about 32 lbs and is fully grown. She is a cute little mountain cur mix who has a naturally bobbed tail and dewclaws on all four feet.

Rosa is somewhat unsure in new places, takes time to warm up, then will follow you around. It appears she has not had much affectionate human contact. Rosa likes her crate to eat and sleep in. A nyla bone to chew on makes her happy! She likes treats and is food motivated.

A fenced yard is highly preferred as Rosa would rather not "go potty" on a leash. (We are working on this). She does very well when we simply let her "outside" into the fenced yard.
Rosa lives with several dogs but really does not play with them. She would rather "hang out" with foster dad by the fireplace.

For more information please contact her foster Denise at deemworden@gmail.com.

*Rosa Roo is part of the Ak Litter

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
