Description:
My name is Cleo and I am a little one but I have a big personality.  I was surrendered by owners that hoarded dogs and kept me outside most of the time, which is no place for a little thing like me.  I am so happy to be in a warm, loving home now!  I am potty trained, but have had a slip up or two in my foster home (so I am not perfect just yet).  I love to cuddle and be near my owner.  I am especially good at sharing a pillow with my owner all night long.  I am very playful.  My favorite thing to do is run circles around furniture!  I also love toys but tend to be a little bit possessive of them.  I get along with most dogs, but I am quite bossy so if the dog tries to be bossy back I will stand my ground.

With a little bit of training I will make a great best friend.  Might you be my best friend?

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
