Description:
Hello everyone!  My name is Petula, but everyone calls me Tula.  LDDR saved me from a shelter in Ohio and boy am I glad they did that. My new digs are so much more comfortable and fun.  I am a beagle/lab mix...which turns out to be a pretty cute mix.  I have the soft brown of a lab but then I have this really pretty 'beagle' white spot on my side and a beagle tail!  I also have those cute ears that beagles have.  My foster mommy says my ears are so cute she can't help but rub them, which let me tell you I don't mind when she does.

I love everybody.  Kid or adult if you come to my foster house I am so excited to see you!  I am a very gentle, but still learning that I should wait with all 4 paws on the ground for people to give me love!  I am pretty young so I have puppy energy and I love to burn it off with my people. I also love to play with other dogs or kids...(don't tell my foster mommy but the kids are more fun than her cuz they play all the time!).  I've gotten some new toys since I came to my foster house and I love them all.  It is so hard to play with just one...so I go from toy to toy.

Everybody keeps talking about Christmas and asking me what I want for Christmas.  I am feeling pretty lucky right now...but I would love to find my forever home soon...so I guess that is what I want for Christmas.  Could you be my humans forever?

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
