Description:
My name is unique because I am black and I was named after a song, HOW COOL is THAT? Only older adults may remember the song though!
I have given birth to 9 beautiful puppies and they will begin to look for their forever homes. I also need to start looking for my forever home. I was on the streets as a pregnant mom when my foster family took me in. I gave birth to my puppies in a home for the first time in my life instead of outside. I live in a very large family of pets and human siblings. My foster mom says I have the best temperment of any dog she has ever seen with the young children and the many furkids here. I can sit on your couch and love on you all day long or I can play for a few minutes and then lay by your feet. I am full of kisses for my family and would like to share those with my forever family. I am very easy to have around because of my gentle nature it doesnt take much to make me happy. I am good on a leash, know how to sit, house broken, crate trained, will go out on a lead or just mosey around the yard and come back to the door. I love to play with my toys, plus play with my human kid siblings, and I don't chew up my toys many times I will just carry them in my mouth. My foster mom says I am the perfect sized dog as I am not to big and not to small so I would fit into any loving family. I weigh about 40 lbs and am less then knee high. Right now I am still working on getting my girly figure back and am a little on the thin side but I won't grow any taller. My foster mom tells me not to worry about my figure that my personality and love of all people makes up for my thinness and that any family would lucky to have me. I am looking for a loving family possibly with kids that will keep me forever and make me a part of their family. Please contact my foster mom if you are interested in adopting me into your Family.
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption.
