Description:

Please say hello to Hutch! Hutch is a super sweet and gentle boy who loves to cuddle. He is good with all other dogs and is enjoying the kids in our home. He is potty trained as well as crate trained. He does not want to go in the crate and will bark for a short time but settles nicely. We have not tried it yet but imagine he would do just fine outside of a crate while alone. He does not like to be picked up, he will growl and/or nip up but once he is being held he is fine. This issue may resolve itself with some time, patience, and for him to get comfortable with his people. He needs a home with children over the age of 10. He likes going for walks and rides very well in the car. He follows us around and is definitely a lap dog. Overall Hutch seems very well behaved and has a cute personality. He would love a home where he can get a bunch of love and attention. Please consider Hutch for your k9 family member!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
