Aspen is a spunky, fearless, playful kitten.  Aspen was taken to an animal shelter with her mom and brother.   After spending a few weeks there, Aspen and her family went to live with an LDDR volunteer and her mom graciously accepted several other kittens that needed someone to care for them.

Aspen is a strong little girl who likes to beat her brother up!  Aspen loves other cats and dogs.  She also does very well with children.  After a little bit of playtime, she likes to snuggle up on your lap and take a cat nap!

Aspen needs to spend a few more weeks with her mom and brother, but will be available for adoption after 10/14/2013.

If you have any questions about Aspen, please feel free to contact her foster mom, Amber, at amber.parmelee@gmail.com

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs/Cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs/cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog/cat.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
