Description:
Sycamore is a wonderful mom cat  who  has taken on may kittens in need. She was originally taken to a shelter with her two babies. After she left the shelter to live with an LDDR volunteer, Sycamore became a mom to 4 more kittens.  She has done a wonderful job of caring for all her babies (ranging from 1 to 7 weeks old), and is looking forward to her retirement from parenting. She is very shy and will need some TLC. She is looking for someone to share as much love with her as she has shared with her sweet babies.  She will be available for adoption after she is done raising her babies, probably early December of 2013.

If you have any questions about Walnut, please feel free to contact her foster mom, Amber, at amber.parmelee@gmail.com

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs/Cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs/cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog/cat.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
