Description:

Romeo is a big love bug who has been learning how to walk on a leash, sit, and lay down. He may be big but he is full of love! He loves to run and play. He is extremely sweet and is pretty much a big baby! He would love to have a family of his own to love on him! He is very anxious to meet his forever family so he can give them all of his love and attention. Romeo loves to play but will also settle down for quiet time and just enjoy being with you!!

UPDATE:  Romeo is such a big fellow that he will be attending obedience training.  He is great with people and with most dogs, but seems to pick and choose who he likes.  This will be addressed in his training.  We think he just never had the opportunity to learn when he was little and now needs some schooling so he will know his commands and his boundaries.  He is very smart and wants to please, so his training should go very well! Please check Romeo out and watch his progress!!  Training is all most dogs need, so now Romeo will begin his new life with a great foundation.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
