Description:
Hello my name is Boom Boom. I know silly name...but that's me silly and fun. I love to play and be cuddled. I was dropped off at a shelter that don't adopt any dogs that look anything like a pit like dog. We only get out if a rescue offers them a space and as soon as a second one comes into the shelter the one there is taken to the back room. I heard the back room is scary, I'm still kinda a puppy so my new foster mom didn't want me to go to that scary place so she offered some space in her home to hang out in until I find my forever someone. I don't know if I am a Pitt like dog for sure because I don't remember my parents but some people may think I am. So my forever someone has to understand some people's prejudice. Like any living thing, I'm a product of my environment and will be the kind of dog you raise me to be. I'm a smart boy, I already know how to walk on a leash without pulling you all over. I take treats gently and have learned the value of cuddles, tummy rubs and ear massages. Yes, I will allow you to provide all of those to me. I am house trained and love other dogs! I have been way to interested in cats so they say I'm not good with them. But, hey, they are so cute a fluffy...who wouldn't want to chase one. I would be proud to go to doggie classes with you so you can learn more about me and how I think. I'm sure to be teacher's pet! Please consider offering me a place beside you for my whole life...I promise to be faithful, loving and even someone to cuddle with and tell your troubles to. So please pick me!

Signed,
Boom Boom :-)~

Applicants that are willing to enroll their puppy in obedience classes will receive  preference

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
