Hello, My name is Myra. I'm a perfect little princess AND just the right size! I am very easy going and LOVE LOVE LOVE kids! I'd be a GREAT companion and family member-I'm always ready to go to the dog park or just relax on the patio for some family fun. I am a super sweet girl and I am excellent on a leash! Cats don't seem to bother me either. I'd love to have a new family of my very own!
Update on Myra: Myra is doing wonderfully in my home and we love having her as our foster! She's been a very good girl, is good with my two daughters (13 and 10), is great with my other foster, Kimberlee, walks nicely on her leash, sleeps well, etc. She is very loving and gives quite a few kisses to us. She seems very relaxed and comfortable, and enjoys sprawling out on the foot of my bed, the dog bed, or one of the foot stools. She likes to follow us around the house wherever we go, but settles in easily when we sit down or go to bed. She was spayed on July 19 and has her sutures removed and is recovering nicely. She is a very loving girl!
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.
