Description:
Hey dog lovers! My name is Kimberlee! I will be your BFF (that's 'best friend forever' in people talk) I am a female Shepherd mix and am told I have AMAZING eyes! I'm very interested to learn, so I will be an easy one to train. I'm SUPER smart (and I am attentive too!) I am great with kids and dogs...not kitties though. Hope, Love, Trust...that's what I am looking for. Oh and my very own family with a comfy bed of my own. Could it be with you?

Update on Kimberlee:
WHAT A WONDERFUL DOG! Kimberlee is so very loving and snuggly. She has been spooning my daughter since she arrived at our house!  She is very friendly, is a big kisser, walks VERY nicely on a leash, lays down to ride in the car, is calm and happy. I can't say enough about what an absolute doll she is.  She gets along well with Myra, our other foster dog, and doesn't seem to be bothered by anything, with one exception. I have a very large mirror on almost one whole wall in my house, and Kimberlee thinks it is another dog and barks when she sees her reflection. For now, I've just covered it, so it doesn't stress her out.  Again - WONDERFUL DOG!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
