Description:
Flynn is a very sweet, friendly and playful  dog. He is a very springy dog and he loves chasing toys and finding toys we have hidden. He loves soft squeaky toys and he loves to play tug of war! Occasionally likes to play with balls. He is also a cuddle bug and loves being held in your lap. He gives sweet deliberate gentle kisses when he is being held.

Flynn is good with other dogs and he really loves having a playmate! He is also good with cats! We have 2 adult cats and Flynn is fine with them, now. I think he barked at them, initially, because he was so afraid and unsure of everything. The cats would stealthily slip into the room on their soft cat feet and it would startle him and he would bark. Anyway, he is fine with them now when he is out of his crate. He does not chase them at all and just pretty much ignores them. Flynn would be a great family dog with kids 10 and up.

Flynn would do best in a home where his new people can give him the love he deserves with a fenced in back yard so he can zoom around plus he is quite a quick runner. He would even be a good dog to practice agility with!

Flynn was picked up as a stray and his owner's never came for him. He was obviously someone's family member. He has been used to a loving touch and never having to be scared and alone like he is was in the shelter.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption.  AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification.  The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted.  If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip.  Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times.  Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
