Meet Moose! Don't let the white face fool you, he is only 6 years old and has many more years of love and affection to give. Moose has that typical lab personality. Just very friendly and playful. He loves being near his people and enjoys giving kisses and receiving belly rubs. A perfect give and take relationship! He likes toys and playing with the ball outside but ready for a nap once he comes in. He is living with a few other dogs right now and they became fast friends. Moose is also living with 2 young children at the moment and has been nice and gentle with them. Moose is potty trained and will even bark at you if he really has to go. He is also crate trained. He will bark for a minute or two but then quickly settles. I would venture to say that he actually does not need to be crated when alone but because he is so new to our home, we crate him during this initial transition period. Moose is a super dog and we are really enjoying having him here with us. He will make someone or some family incredibly lucky!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do o ur best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
