Description:
Bugsley is truly a special guy. He loves everyone. Bugsley is a big ball of love! Your heart will just melt when you meet him. What a gentle, sweet soul he is. He's good around bigger and smaller dogs and has no food/toy aggression toward dogs or people. He loves playing with squeaky toys, and he's extra gentle with them. House & Crate Trained but has free access in his foster home w/o issue. Even though he's a big guy, he thinks he's a lap dog and will sit in your lap if he gets the chance! With his constant smiling and tail-wagging, he's sure to put a smile on your face every day. He has lived in a home with kids ages 6 to 13 yrs old. He also lives with multiple other dogs that range from 3lbs to 70lbs. Bugsley is a calm, happy go lucky kind of guy. He likes to play ball and play with toys. Now that he learned how to play with them. He does not mind sharing toys, dog beds or bowls with his other housemates. He enjoys his walks around the block and is a social butterfly. Bugsley came from a high kill shelter as a stray. He was clearly neglected. He was always so happy and quickly earned the nick name wiggle butt to all the shelter volunteers. He walked well on a leash and was happy to lay in the grass for a belly rub. He won over everyone who met him. Due to his age and breed he kept being over looked and soon became in danger after his stray hold was over. Bugsley was welcomed into the LDDR family. He was brought UTD on shots, neutered and cured of flees and worms. He quickly learned home manners and is now completely potty trained. X rays showed more then a year ago Bugsley experienced some sort of blunt trauma to his back end that was never treated. Causing his pelvis to tilt and Arthritis to his knees and back. He will need to remain on joint & pain meds for life. The good news Tramadol is only $4 for a monthly supply at most drug stores & the other meds are not costly & most have a generic option. Bugsley is a very loyal and loving friend and will make a great addition to your family!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Bugsley âÂÂ¥-ADOPTED 10.15.13 (click to see larger version):
