Micha is in her foster home now and doing wonderful!, she likes everyone including men, and is a real people kinda gal. Micha would do wonderful in a home with older kids, ( only due to her size as she loves kids too) or just a person who is home more often than not, as she loves to be with you, she is soooo sweet and loving. She likes to play with other dogs and toys, and loves to go for car rides. She is house trained and loves walks. Please consider giving this wonderful girl a forever home. As for Micha's age this is a best guess, my shepherd is 3 yrs old and has a grey muzzle!
When I was finished training Micha, I put the treats away in the cupboard. A little while later, Micha went and got the treats out of the cupboard and brought the treat bag to me, sat down in front of me, and offered me her paw! She knows that she gets a treat for shaking hands! How's that for smart thinking on her part? (I found a new place to hide the treats--ha!)
Micha was an owner surrender again due to a loss of their home. Micha is a 6 yr German Shepherd who weighs 83 pounds. She is a laid back girl who knows a few of her commands such as sit and stay, possibly down as well. She is a little unconfident, but that is probably due to confusion as to why she is no longer with her previous owner. She is a polite girl who will make a great companion for a family. She is good with other dogs and likes everyone, but is a little hesitant when she meets a new man for the first time. She does warm up quickly, though and will be a great addition to your family.
Micha is up to date on her shots and is spayed. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
