Description:
Hi, my name is Angel. I am so thankful to be out of that shelter and to be alive thanks to LDDR! I am just a young girl and have a whole life ahead of me. I am told that I am just as sweet as can be! I love my foster mom and I like to follow her around and be by her side. I especially love to cuddle - that's the best! I am kind of a mellow young girl but I do love my toys and am always up for chasing a ball. I already know how to sit and I take my treats very gently. I respond very well to correction from my foster mom because I just want to be a good doggie. I think I would do really good in obedience training too! I tend to get a little on guard when it comes to food when other doggies are around but my foster mom is trying to teach me that I can't be like that I don't have to worry about ever being hungry again. As you can see I have a few scars - I wish I could talk and tell you what happened to me but they think another dog was not nice to me and that I probably had to fight for food. I do need to put on some weight so I can get my girlish figure back. I feel that I would do best in a home with a more laid back or submissive dog. I do like to play with other dogs but if they are dominant it might not be a good fit for me. I pretty much have the potty outside thing down and I go in my crate like a good girl. I would love to have a family of my own and would be a very loyal companion - I have nothing but love to give! Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Angel-ADOPTED 05.19.12 (click to see larger version):
