Description:
Bullet is a 2 year old owner surrender lab that was abandoned by his family. He didn't understand why he ended up in a high kill shelter but LDDR stepped in to save him.
Bullet has no issues but let me share with you some of his greatest attributes! He has a great dispostion and is loyal, kind, and good with cats and kids. He is a very loving lab that just wants to please, so at the moment when you sit on the couch he is right there at your side and aiming to please. Bullet comes when called and knows the command sit, he is also crate-trained and housebroken. Bullet is a good dog and the person(s) that abandoned him should be ashamed of themselves as there is never a reason to give up your dog and people should not be allowed to do this! Bullet shows no signs of separation anxiety from being abandoned and would be a perfect dog for anyone with a decent sized yard and 5 ft fence, anything lower is pointless (invisible fence is also an option). Bullet is good with kids but for younger children supervision is always advised as a pre-caution due to the fact that labs dont tend to calm down until they are over 5 years of age.
If you are interested in meeting Bullet please fill out an application on line and we will get the application process started. We tend to only go to the Ann Arbor Petco event once a month so perhaps we will see you there?
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Bullet - ADOPTED 07.06.12 (click to see larger version):
