Description:
Asia may look like a "bully" but she is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet! The vet says she is 18 months or younger and she weighs 55 lbs. Poor Asia was rescued from the gas chamber along with her 4 puppies that were only days old. She then took in 4 other abandoned puppies and nursed them also so she is a "foster mom" too! The pups are all weaned now and Asia is enjoying just being a dog! She is a very happy girl that loves to play but also settles down well and is quite the cuddler! Asia is awesome with children of all ages and loves all people- even the vet! She is very intelligent and learns very quickly so with continued obedience training would be a dog you could teach endless commands to as she really wants to please. Asia currently lives with 5 other dogs and loves to play with them! She does play a bit rough sometimes so should have a friend that is close to her size or larger. She is respectful to older dogs that do not want to play and will leave them alone. She is ok with cats and wont hurt them but is very interested in what they are doing so if you have a cat(s) they would need to be tolerant of dogs. Asia loves to go for walks, car rides and loves spending time outside. She is completely housebroke, crate trained and her leash manners are constantly improving. Asia has no agression whatsoever and will happily give up anything to you. . If you are interested in giving Asia the loving forever home she deserves please fill out an application or contact her foster mom Angie at moparangie@comcast.net
Asia is a wonderful dog, friend and mother. Despite the fact that she was found as a stray she still still has a super-friendly disposition and had to be someone's pet at one time. She does great meeting new people but she does like to jump up to give a quick kiss. She is doing great on her basic training and would just excel with obedience class. This would be a great bonding experience along with showing her what you find as acceptable behavior in your home. She is very eager to please and is happy to lay at your feet at night while you unwind on the sofa. She loves to play and would do great with an active family. She has great house manners, aside from an occasional counter-surfing (currently working on) she knows that the proper place to relieve herself is outdoors. She is an awesome mother to her 4 pups, very attentive and has passed on her traits to them. She is also a "Foster" herself!! She has graciously taken in 4 young pups that came into a shelter only days old with no mother of their own. She took them into her pen with her own pups that were 4 weeks old and starting weening them. She was almost done nursing her own and took these poor orphaned pups in and started the nursing process all over again for the love of her 4 adopted babies. She is such a love and great girl and she deserves to be part of a family that will show her the same generosity and unconditional LOVE that she has shown her pups and the ones she adopted. Asia does great with our 4 year old son, has shown little interest in our cat, and once properly introduced to our dog has become fast friends. If you are looking for a Furever Freind that will give you love and happiness for the next 10-16 years then please inquire about this girl.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
