Description:
Regina is a very sweet loyal girl, she is currently living with doggy foster siblings, both big and small . She also lives with human foster brothers and sisters. She was taken into the rescue after living on the streets to fend for herself. She was so scared and unsure if she could trust or not. After coming into her foster home she quickly bonded with her foster family. With time to adjust she is now learning to trust again. She is an absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold. Her only desire in life is to be right next to her humans. She is crate trained , house broke, and even my kids can walk her she is so great on a leash. Because of her desire to please humans she has been a cinch to train . She needs someone who will just be patient to let her beautiful personality emerge. To know sweet Regina is to fall in love with her . She would make a great addition to any family and in return this girl will give you the most love and loyalty anyone could ask for.
Regan and her best Regina were seen living behind an abandoned barn playing together. A kind man fed them for a week while trying to find their owners. Obviously they had belonged to someone as they looked healthy and well kept. Finally to keep them safe he called animal control. Regina is a heeler /boxer mix and very passive and loves to lay her head in your lap.
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
