Description:

Hi, my name is Tucker. I was saved from a potentially dangerous situation, my foster mom can tell you my whole story. I am a happy, sweet and cuddly kind of guy. I love to play, but when it comes time for sleeping I take that very seriously and love to go lay down in my crate! I don't know what a butterball is, but I have heard some people say that's what I am!

UPDATE;

I am doing great in my foster home!  Everyone just loves me and thinks I am cute as a button!  They tell me I am such a good pup too!  I love the other doggies here and love playing with them and all of my toys.  After playtime, I enjoy my naptime.  I am doing so well at housetraining.  I know what I am supposed to do when I go outside.  I am still young so I have to be watched and let out frequently so I don't have a mistake in the house.  I love to cuddle in bed and will cry to wake my foster mom up in the middle of the night to go outside potty since I cant get on and off the bed by myself because I am so little.  I am getting better each day with my crate-training.  I know the routine in the morning when my foster mom leaves for work and I go right in my crate - it helps that I get a treat!  I am kind of an independent little guy.  I do my own thing and love to just explore outside in the yard even if the other doggies are inside.  I am not a needy puppy but do enjoy lots of lovin.  I am just sweet as can be but I do have a feisty side to me since I am a young and playful guy.

Anyone who would like to meet me should go to www.LastDayDogRescue.org and fill out an application to adopt me. My new family must also agree to take me to puppy classes, that's the best way to give me a great head start in life.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
