Description:
My name is Bullet and here is my story. My family who lived in the NE part of the lower peninsula of Michigan abandoned me when they moved out of state to Florida. Days went by until the animal control picked me up and put me in the shelter, from that point I knew I only had 7 days to get adopted. My 7 days came and went so a rescue picked me up as a foster dog so I would not be PTS at the end of the week. I am a very good dog that enjoys being with a family, going on walks, playing with a tennis ball(s) in the back yard, and just running around in a dog park or big fenced in yard. I am house/crate trained and enjoy playing with my other foster mates Nate and Ziggy; we are all pals :) I recently took part in a parade where my handler walked me and he said I did so good with all the people and dogs that were along the route. I think I am a mix of lab and coon hound. I can be crated during the day or left out inside the house while your at work and I will just curl up and sleep somewhere soft, its your call! I will chase rabbits and squirrels if you leave me outside unattended so a 5ft fence or invisible deal would be most practical for me but its not a requirement! I do get along with indoor cats and I currently live with 3 other foster dogs, my owner, and his dog; all male. I would be a wonderful addition to your family bringing countless years of love and affection as I am only two, so I am still very playful, filled with joy, and could live for another 14 years if you take care of me. Could I be that dog you are looking for? I sure hope so. Hello! My name is Bullet. I am 2 years of age and about 60 pounds. My family moved to FL and did not take me so I am looking for a new forever home. I am great with other dogs, housebroke and good with kids. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Bullett-ADOPTED-9.16.11 (click to see larger version):
