Update: July 21,2011

Snow White has come out of her shell a little more, giving me more of an understanding of her. She is going to be a dog that picks her own family, she either likes you or she don't, apparently if she chooses you she will come up to you and want attention, if not she will stay on her love seat or go in the other room. she loves to go for walks and rides in the car, she also loves to be out doors . If she decides she wants attention she will put her paw on you and just look at you if you ignore her she will paw at you or she will do a funny little dance and bark, the first time I ever heard her bark was when I had my back to her and she wanted my attention lol, other than that she is a very quite and very well behaved girl. she makes a wonderful companion and would do well in a calm home.

Snow white ( I call her Sasha) is a very shy girl at first it does take her a little time to warm up, she is a little skiddish also. She is such a quiet girl you hardley know she is there. she likes to go for walks and loves it if it is cold out. she is looking for someone to love her and take good care of her. Her past family must not have been to good at that because she was thin and is skiddish as if she wasn't treated very nice. A home with no children or older respectful kids is required. She is good with kids, but loud noise and hurried movement makes her nervous.  She rides very good in the car, she lays on the center console and every now and then she will nudge my are so that she can lay her head in it to be pet. Snow White also knows sit, shake and down. she does not use a crate as she is house trained , but she does have a love seat of her own to lay on.

Snow White will need to have an ex ray or blood panel done once a year for her spleen, it is not life threatening, the vet said they just want to make sure she don't get a growth or tumor that isn't caught in time. This is just a precationary measure because her splean was not completly smooth, but a little rough texture. the cost for this is minimal my local vet is only $58.00 for X Ray and $88.00 for blood work that is a small price to pay once a year to make sure this beautiful girl stays healthy. She is worth a hundred times more than that!

Snow White is the sweetest girl ever and deserves a forever home with someone to love her and take good care of her.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
