Description:
Kyler is a super friendly and affectionate young boy. He loves everyone he meets. He is currently living with 3 other dogs and 2 young children. He enjoys playing outside with the dogs and is doing pretty well at fetch. He has alot of energy and will play as long as the other dogs will allow while still being very submissive. Kyler is very eager to please and will be easily trained. He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He rides wonderfully in the car and overall is a pretty quiet dog. He is young however and still has some puppy qualities. When excited he will try and jump up but he quickly responds to a firm " no ". He is also not quite out of the chewing phase yet. It is not an excessive issue but he if something wonderful such as a flip flop is laying around, he just can't resist. Nothing a little time and patience along with his own dog toys can't fix! He can stay entertained with a softball or a kong for a pretty long time. If you are looking for a young, friendly, affectionate and handsome dog that loves everyone and everything, Kyler is your dog. Please consider giving this deserving dog a forever home.

Here is what the shelter had to say about him:
Kyler is thought to be a Greyhound or Dane mix; approx. 1 year old; He is simply sooooo sweet! He is learning to walk on a leash; he's smart and doing well; we laughed because we thought Kyler was a girl by the way he acts so we're just saying he's a "feminine boy"; he came in with a Doberman that was adopted already. From this we know Kyler has been with another large male dog; their owners moved and left them behind to survive all by themselves.

Here is what transporters say about him, Sweet dog, gentle as a lamb, quiet, undemanding. His last hour of transport he rode shotgun and every now and then tried to roll over to give tummy in the bucket seat he was sitting in. he will make a great best friend to someone! Only wants to please!!!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
