UPDATE: Angel is a wonderful foster in our home , she lives with 3 other dogs and does greatl with them. If they growl at her she backs off and finds someone else to play with as that is what she loves to do  so she should go to a home with an active playful dog to do that with . If she can't interest a dog in engaging in a game of tag outside or tug of war with a toy inside she will come to her humans to want to play she pushes the toys at you especially at your hands and when you go to grab for the toy she will grab back not watching what part of the toy or maybe your hand she gets . We are working on that it is not a bite at all . When she is ready to settle down she prefers your lap or lying on a comfy dog bed . She is very housetrained and crate trained so we don't use the crate anymore but she is fine with it if that is what you want to do.  She has never chewed our belongings here and sticks to her toys  . She likes to come up to us here and lie her head on our leg to get a head rub and some loving , Angel takes treats very gently and has no aggression at all with her food. If you are looking for a smaller size dog with a pert and very happy dispostion please ask to meet this nice girl .

Angel is a very loving shepard/lab mix she is just under 30 lbs and is full size due to her deplorable living condition when surrendered to Last Day Dog Rescue.  We didn't think she would make it, but now with love and caring she has made a full recovery and is ready share her love with her forever family. Angel, with the help of her foster parents, is fully potty trained, signal's by whining at the door, and fully crate trained. She loves to play!  She's a strong chewer so her toys need to be kong type toys.  But if given the chance to sprawl on the couch with you, she wouldn't pass that up.  Angel is very good with other dogs and kids. She can be a little slow to warm up to some adults but with time and a slow hand, she hasn't found a person she didn't like.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
