Description:
Finnegan joined LDDR in October 2010. 10/8/2010: Finnegan is new to the rescue he has that scruffy wirery type hair that looks just so adorable on dogs. He is about 5 months old and ia norfolk/airedale terrier mix we think . He will require an owner dedicated to exercising him with playtime and plenty of walks. As with all of pups we highly recommend a basic puppy training course. For more information on Finnegan, please contact lddr.lb.pups@gmail.com Finnegan- A sweet young pupppy that wants nothing more than to be by your side. He is very people oriented, he likes to play with the other dogs but he will play for a second and run back to you to make sure you are still there. You give him a pat and he runs off to play again. He is food motivated and when you set food down for him to eat he scarfs it down like he has never eaten before. He needs to learn and trust that he will be fed everyday so he doesnt have to eat so fast. He is a very mouthy puppy. If you have young children this isnt the puppy for you. He mouths hands and jumps a lot. We are working on both of these things, but these behaviors in a puppy do not mix well with young children; the puppy often times is misunderstood as biting or knocking the child over to many times and is returned. Therefore Finn is looking for a family with Children over the age of 8. Finnergan walks extremely well on a leash. Plays very gently with other dogs and has a very funny deep grovely bark. He has very funny ears, sometimes they stand up and stometimes the flop around. He is sooooo cute. He doesnt photograph well and you really need to see him in person to understand just how adorable he is. Finnegan is recovering from hhis neuter and will be available to go to his new home on Thursday October 21st. He will look very cute in a halloween costume so put in your application today if you think Finnegan is the puppy for you. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of PPP-Finnegan - ADOPTED 11.01.10 (click to see larger version):
