Description:
Miss Merryweather is the smarty of the group. The first to do just about everything. She is kind of the cheerleader getting everyone all riled up. She can leap her pen in a single bounce. She LOVES to be near people. She likes playing, napping, eating and hanging out with her siblings. She will take on Big pup Flower (40 lbs.) and thinks the cats are so interesting! Just wanting to play with them. Pretty little eyes just watching for her chance to jump in your arms for some loving! These little girls are named after the fairy Godmothers in Sleeping Beauty. Well named as they are watchful and caring and all have interesting personalities. The God Mother sisters were lucky as they were only at the shelter for a week when the rescue transport arrived. Many other pups had been there a month or more. Healthy, but very young, they were at risk of getting sick. Sick puppies are immediately put down in shelters. When they arrived in Michigan after a long 14 hour journey they were greeted by many volunteers to wash, feed, care for and cuddle them. They acted like they were in puppy heaven! All this attention. Over and over again they heard “So Pretty!†But these sisters are much more than pretty faces. They are feisty, little ladies that won’t be pushed around or ignored. Loving attention, they have learned how to get it. Standing at the edge of their puppy pen with hopeful looks and wagging tails, it’s only a matter of moments till they are enveloped in loving arms. Merryweather lives with her foster siblings in Northville and is so excited because soon all will have happy forever homes. If you want a joy filled pup Merryweather is the perfect pick. Please email LDDR Pound Puppies for more info on me. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of KC3 litter-Merriweathe-ADOPTED (click to see larger version):
