Meet Woody

Woody is a very sweet and playful, but clam tan Lab mix that has the most beautiful black markings around his eyes.  He loves to play chase through the house and tug-a-war with his brother Buzz. When he is not playing with his brother, he will walk around squeezing his octopus (he must be a wings fan) or chewing on his rawhide.  His favorite thing is his Kong filled with peanut butter.  He loves to be cuddled and get a belly rub.  If you don’t pick him up, he will lay quietly at your feet. He is crate trained with an open door and will quietly sleep their through the night. Oh, we must admit as he is a puppy, he did get into the paper towels one day as you can see in the picture below.  He just sat there not realizing he had done anything wrong…my fault for leaving it on the floor. See the poem below that was written for him after the picture was shared.  He is very smart and is quickly learning not everything is his to play with. Woody will bring lots of love and happiness to some lucky family.  If you’re considering two, these boys really love each other and would love to go together.

Thank goodness my nanny

didn't complain.

I really should keep my room neat...

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home.
