Description:

Flower is a fun loving lady of 5 months (7-1-10) she appears to be a St. Bernard mixed with Collie and maybe with lots of other stuff. A designer dog with personality! One word for her is WATER! She loves to swim. Even if it's only her water bowl. She is energized as any 5 month old would be.  But will settle down into the medium range as she becomes a lady.

Flower was rescued with many other pups from an overfilled shelter in Georgia and not expected to be around very long.  Transportation came to rescue as many pups as could fit and after all he little ones were loaded into the SUV, there was just a little more room. Flower was happy to travel in a cramp carrier because she knew a new life awaited her. After 14 grueling hours. She found herself surrounded with many loving volunteers to care for her. She got a bath, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and a big bowl of food and yes, LOTS of water! She was even a good girl when her temperature was taken you know where!

Flower spends her days playing with pups a third her size. She doesn't seem to know she is a big puppy. She will need some puppy training and of course lots and lots of love.  (Special request from her is water to play in.) But if you don't have water a big bowl with a huge plastic mat will do.

Miss Flower is easy to meet in her Northville Foster home. Please consider making Flower an addition to your family. In return she will love you her whole life long! Flower really is a wonderful, loving dog that deserves a warm, loving home with a family that will take good care of her.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
