Description:
6/16/2010. Freddie is doing great ! He is completely housebroken and loves attention. Still uses his crate for some private time when he feels like it, and he defends his territory from the other dogs with a little growl when the try to enter his crate. Freddie likes mini-rawhides (2") which will keep his teeth in shape. He does have some old tartar build-up, and may need a clean down the road. Freddie does very well with our other dog and enjoys walks around the block for exercise. He prefers to hang out on the couch rather than to engage himself in vigorous activities. Freddie would like a home with a family where someone is at home most of the time but he does OK alone at home too. 6/1/2010. Our little Freddie is adjusting very well. He is getting along with our dog without any problems and seems to like all dogs we encounter during walks in the neighborhood. After just a few days in our home he was venturing out of his crate and tries to steal attention, belly rubs and cuddles. This little guy has made so much progress! The first day he would not leave his crate, he was hiding in the far corner refusing to come out. He was not interest in contact with people. When he was forced out for a potty walk he hid under furniture and it was quite a chase to catch him. Freddyie needs a little time and patience in his new forever home the beginning but will become a wonderful pet for the right owner. Freddie does not know his name so he can easily be renamed. This boy is housebroken and likes walks in the neighborhood, he has been someones loving pet in the past. At times he is lazy and likes to be carried around by his human. Freddie looks like a Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Freddie-ADOPTED (click to see larger version):
