Update: Star is a very friendly/loveable girl. She likes to lounge around the house and in the yard. She is very happy laying in the yard with a big stick to chew on. She loves people of all shapes and sizes. She will curl up on any free lap she can find, including my 4 year olds. She is crate trained and housebroken. She is good with other dogs but does get a little nervous around larger dogs. Once she is comfortable she is fine and then wants to play all day. Her best friend is a 16 lb. jack russel and she plays very nicely with him. She likes to run and chase, so a fenced in yard would be a good thing for her. She is currently trained on an invisible fence. Star does not get along with cats. She listens and minds very well. Star is such a fun and loving young dog and she would make a great addition to a loving family! 5/1/10 Star is a wonderful girl who found herself lost on a busy intersection and then wandered into the yard of one of the fosters . Star is so pretty and just as sweet as sugar. She is about 6 months old and loves to be near people and is looking for a secure safe home where she wont end up on a busy road again. Star does great with other dogs . She will be a medium sized dog when grown . She has wonderful manners and a fabulous temperment . Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children.
