Timmy-update on 5-5-2010 Timmy is now 10 weeks old and has come out of his shell. He likes to play with people and pups alike. A little unsure of new dogs until he has gotten to know them. He is determined and likes to run. So much so he crawls right out of his pen and runs and runs! He and Freddie are now best buds. It takes the two of them to tackle their brother Tubby!
He is very ready for his forever home. Someone with patience as he takes a little bit to get use to new things. This is just his defense and will out grow it as he grows into a confident happy pup.
He is easy to meet at his Northville Foster home. This is one of 7 puppies born to Bethany who is on our site , she is a husky/shpeherd mix by her looks but pups look like there was more then one daddy some like mostly like a labrador .others like a rottweiler or a shepherd. They are only about 4 and half weeks old now so we are taking applications now to find them great homes I call this boy "Timmy" because he is the most timid and timid would be an awful name. Little guy is shy, moreso with people than other pups. He will come play with me if I'm in the pen playing with the other pups but he doesn't really like to be sought out. I plan to spend some more one on one time with him to hopefully help with his shyness. He's absolutely beautiful; looks like an adorable Yellow Lab puppy. He plays well with others, eats fine, etc. and I think he just needs a little help coming out of his shell. He's the only light-colored boy. He doesn't seem to recognize his name but then again he was the last one to get one. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
