Update 4/12/10
Brody is now in a foster's home and he is doing great! He has a lot of energy so would need a fenced in yard to run, or a highly active owner to go on walks/runs daily! He is great with other dogs and cats, he should go to a home with older children as his activity level is so high he could easily knock over a small child. He does well on a leash and he is potty trained. He would benefit from going to a home with a dog already as he would enjoy the company when left alone and could expel some of that energy! He does great in the car, is crate trained and enjoys his bones! For a 7 month old he listens great and is very smart!! He would highly benefit from a training class as he would catch on quickly! He is very treat-oriented and is overall a wonderful boy!!

Brody is still at a high kill shelter and we want to take him into our safely net and get him out of there but we are seeking a foster home for him until adopted . He is very very urgent and needs to get out he is a young boy of 7 months and is a boxer mix very cute and playful. He is still a puppy and as we always do we recommend a basic training course for him and all of our other puppies. Brody will be a medium sized dog when grown . We will have more information if we get him into the rescue

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children.
