UPDATE 4/15/10
Annika was recently returned to us through no fault of her own. Her new owner had an unexpected change in her work schedule and would be traveling too much to care for Annika. We will have a more detailed update soon!

UPDATE 2/25/10
Annika's new foster parents absolutely love her! She is very treat-oriented and now knows how to sit! She will be working on learning new commands! She is now 18 lbs. and her favorite thing to do is play catch! She is well behaved around cats, and loves to play with her Golden Retriever house mate. She is not an overly active puppy and knows when it is time to calm down, she also does very well on car rides. She loves to cuddle and is great with children! She will be a great addition to any family!

UPDATE 2/22/10
Annika is now about 15 lbs, and almost 3 months old! She loves to play fetch and is great at retrieving and bringing the ball right back to you! She is being crate-trained and objects at first but then will slowly calm down, it is still being worked on! She plays great with other dogs and is very active! She is not destructive in the home at all, and she is very smart! She is also house trained.

Annika is on the way to us and she is a beautiful girl all golden with black and white mixed in on her medium lenght coat. She has a wonderful face and temperment and will make a great new addition to your home

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children.
